Facilities for Children at Gatwick Airport

Gatwick airport has many rooms for feeding and changing babies spread throughout the airport. There is a children's play area in each terminal.

Keeping Children occupied

There are plenty of things to keep children occupied in Gatwick airport.

Video Games
In the South Terminal there are video games in the departures lounge, scattered throughout The Village shopping area and in the arrivals area downstairs. In the North Terminal the video games are near the Red Lion pub.

Skyview
Skyview is an aviation experience in the South Terminal. See Things to do at Gatwick airport for details. As it is quite a trek up to Skyview it is not suitable for those with very small children or push chairs.

Inter Terminal Transit train
The Inter Terminal Transit train, which is free, runs every 3 minutes between the North and South Terminals. If your children enjoy a ride on trains, they will enjoy this. The ride only takes about 2 minutes and you can take as many trips as you want.

Shopping
There is a Warner Brothers Studio store in the South Terminal's Village. After security in the Duty Free shopping area, there is the Disney Store. There are also bookshops , such as WH Smith where you can buy books, comics, colouring books etc.

Eating
There are plenty of Restaurants and shops selling snacks and many provide children's meals.
